Chef - Nailsworth

The role

Location: Nailsworth Shop

Hours: Full time, Tuesday - Saturday 7am-3pm (Sunday and Monday off)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced chef to join our Nailsworth team. Our café serves a delicious seasonal menu, and we need somebody with an eye for detail to consistently provide great plates of food for our loyal customers. You will have the opportunity to put your stamp on our menu, keeping our exceptional bread at the heart of it. We are passionate about our staff and we know how important work-life balance is. We won’t require you to work evenings or Sundays.

We need a team player who is keen to engage with customers as well as fellow employees. The shop and café can get very lively with takeaway customers and those choosing to eat in. Experience working in a busy kitchen is essential, along with excellent time management skills. You will be responsible for the day to day ordering of ingredients. You must have high standards of cleanliness and be up to date with food safety.

Our bakery

We are a friendly and busy bakery making a wide range of artisan sourdoughs, overnight doughs, rolls, and speciality bread; many of which are award winning. Our confectionary team make a wide range of delicious loaf cakes, tray bakes and pastries.
